In January 2026, Baowu Clean Energy launched the Yangjiang Green Hydrogen Industrial Park in Guangdong, China, with a total investment of RMB 11.09 billion. The project integrates 1.5 GW of offshore wind power to produce 80,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually, alongside green ammonia, solid-state hydrogen storage, hydrogen equipment manufacturing, and a dedicated R D center. It also plans three hydrogen pipeline corridors connecting Yangjiang to Zhanjiang, the Pearl River Delta, and Hong Kong.
